The only reason I tried yoga was because it got such great reviews.

But this was long before Yelp.

This was word of mouth, son.

Ok, probably also Madonna.

Anyway, I knew I needed to be able to function in the daily world without a) hating myself and everyone around me, b) watching my body physically deteriorate in an office environment, and c) taking every single little failure or mishap seriously or personally (aka STRESS). Yoga has helped me to heal my own brain and that’s neuroscience and that’s why it’s cool.

I researched the spandex pants out of yoga before I decided to try it. The more I learned about it, the more stoked I got about it. And guess what?

Still stoked.

Yoga, combined with what I learned from Psychology theory, helped me to coax the asshole-ish tone of my twenties into the charming and sardonic voice you enjoy here.

It’s part spirituality, part personal development, part fitness routine. It’s as much or as little of any or none of that as you want.

It’s the catalyst to whatever awesome you want to create in this world. It’s a well-stocked toolbox. It’s a complete physical.

My Routine

Currently, I practice traditional Ashtanga yoga 2-3 times, take 1-2 Power Flow classes and have several of my own 15-30 minute creative sessions throughout the week.

I meditate for 20 minutes daily.

6-Week Yoga Package:: $600 or 2 Installments of $350

This selection is appropriate for:

  • Beginners who want to gain confidence in a yoga practice before joining group yoga classes.
  • Intermediate students who are ready to advance to their full potential in their yoga practice.
  • Those who want to deepen their understanding of specific postures and gain more flexibility and strength.
  • “Yoga Tourists” who want to get into the yoga poses safely, but are unsure of whether yoga is right for them.

This is NOT for:

  • Those who want to lose a considerable amount of weight doing yoga.
  • Those who are working with severe limitations such as chronic pain, spine and nerve damage, torn tendons or ligaments, surgery recovery, or mental health issues.
  • Those who are constantly traveling or in ill health.
  • Women who are trying to or may become pregnant. Women who are already pregnant.
  • Those who are prone to chronic tardiness, rescheduling, canceling appointments or a general douchebag nature.

*Please note: No sessions will be scheduled beyond the 6-weeks, no exceptions. If a session is canceled due to illness or travel, we will double-up our sessions in one week. Please be certain that your schedule can accommodate this policy.

6-Month Yoga Package:: $2600 or 6 Monthly Installments of $450

This selection is appropriate for:

  • Beginners who want the guidance of a trained professional to ease them into a healthy yoga lifestyle.
  • Intermediate to Advanced students who are ready to level-up in their yoga practice, break down the barriers to progress, and explore advanced poses.
  • Those who want to deepen their understanding of the spiritual aspects of yoga and are ready to add meditation and pranayama into their yoga practice
  • Those who are ready to step onto the path of recovery from extreme illness, injury, or loss.
  • Those who want to lose a considerable amount of weight doing yoga.
  • Women who are trying to become or may become pregnant, or women who are already pregnant.

This is NOT for:

  • Those who are constantly traveling.
  • Those without a sense of humor.
  • Those who are prone to chronic tardiness, rescheduling, or canceling appointments.

*Please note: No sessions will be scheduled beyond the 6-month agreement, no exceptions. If a session is canceled due to illness or travel, we will double-up our sessions in one week. Please be certain that your schedule can accommodate this policy. I am much more lenient with scheduling as we go through our process together because, well, things change, don’t they?

Led Ashtanga Full Primary Series 6:30-8am at Balance Yoga Wellness  At some point, every yogi should try the Primary Series and this is your chance! Attempt postures that will freak you out for a while!  ***Please note that I’m on a rotation with other teachers, so I only teach this class about once per month. Check the Balance schedule!
